Office Administrator


Reporting to the Director of Alternative Lending, the Office Administrator is responsible for the administrative function to support Graysbrook's operations. This role encompasses administrative, accounting and client-based activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness and effective dissemination of information in the organization. The key areas of responsibilities are:

  • Administration: organize and maintain complete files, records and documents; prepare and send various communications, including for payments, payouts and renewals; compile monthly operational and financial data in the defined format; set up client files and maintain up to date information in the prescribed system.
  • Accounting: record and process all client payments; reconcile the general ledger accounts; record vendor invoices for payment.
  • Client-based: follow-up on payments as required and support the collection process; investigate client transactions and tracing items; respond to client enquiries; on behalf of clients, interact with lawyers for the funding and payout processes.


Education / Experience:

  • University degree in business or an equivalent from a community college.
  • Minimum of three (3) years in an administrative support role.
  • Basic accounting experience, with banking experience considered to be an asset.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
