Essential Qualifications:

•Minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent education

•Firefighter Level I and Firefighter Level II (IFSAC or Pro Board Accredited) before employment as a HRFF. Applicants holding FF I & FF II certificates without the IFSAC or Pro Board accreditation are encouraged to apply. SJFD can assist in navigating the accreditation process. •Valid Driver's License. A minimum of Class 5 is required. Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Class 3E within six (6) months of employment

•Oral Proficiency level of intermediate in English as determined by the Province of New Brunswick

Note: SJFD will provide opportunities for applicants selected for the fitness assessment to visit the training grounds to become familiar with equipment and requirements prior to testing.

a.Resume/ CV

b.Copy of high school diploma and related post-secondary education

c.Copy of current certification of fire certifications NFPA 1001 Level I & II Firefighter: (IFSAC or Pro Board Accredited) or indication of intention to participate in certification process with GNB

e.Copy of valid driver's license

h.Copies of any additional certificates for other qualifications as presented in the resume
