Department: Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI)
Placement Description: The successful student will work with both the Response & Recovery (R&R) and Preparedness & Mitigation (P&M) teams to support the delivery of their projects and programs. This will involve participating in meetings, coordinating, and actioning tasks as instructed by the P&M and R&R managers, assisting with project/program management efforts, and working on projects of their own.
This role offers an opportunity for skills development with career-focused trainings, self-development workshops, and personalized mentorship.
Qualifications:

• Language requirement: English or Bilingual
• Enrolled in an engineering program - preferably civil engineering

Skills/Highlights: The successful candidate should be personable and confident, with strong communication skills that enable them to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential for managing documentation, reports, and presentations. Additionally, an interest in road design and transportation engineering is highly valued, as this role involves engaging with projects that contribute to infrastructure development and mobility solutions.
