Placement Description: The coordinator's main mandate is to support the team responsible for updating the Linguistic and Cultural Planning Policy in Education (PALC), particularly regarding communications (e.g., newsletters for partners, updating the "Créons la suite" website) and the logistics of certain targeted strategic consultations. This person will also support the organization of the symposium on best practices in attracting and retaining learners (logistics, communication, etc.). Additionally, the coordinator may contribute to the finalization of the SharePoint site for International Educational Cooperation and the advancement of other related projects.

The coordinator will support the entire Directorate of International and Intercultural Relations and Education (DREII) in implementing its mandate, ensuring alignment and cross-functionality of actions within the ministry's Francophone educational services. This person will collaborate with several DREII members and be supervised by the director.
This role offers an opportunity for skills development with career-focused trainings, self-development workshops, and personalized mentorship.
Qualifications:

  • Language requirement: French
  • Enrolled in a postsecondary program in education, communications, social sciences, or other related fields.

Skills/Highlights: The ideal candidate should have a good knowledge of the Francophone education system, oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in digital communication tools. They should be able to organize and manage multiple files simultaneously and demonstrate planning and rigor in meeting deadlines. Additionally, the candidate should be able to work in a team and interact with various partners, while showing autonomy and adaptability.
