Placement Description: The successful candidate will join the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program team. Through collaboration with the EEO team and departmental coordinators, the candidate will plan and execute program initiatives, coordinate department touchpoints and client sessions (such as resume workshops), and support communications efforts including newsletters and promotional materials. Responsibilities also include supporting the delivery of client Discovery sessions (training provided), screening resumes for Talent Acquisition requests, and administrative tasks such as inbox, schedule management and other tasks based on the team's needs. The candidate will engage in process improvement by tracking program outcomes and providing regular updates to the team, participating in team meetings, and contributing ideas to enhance the program.
This role offers an opportunity for skills development with career-focused trainings, self-development workshops, and personalized mentorship.
Qualifications:
- Language requirement: (1) English and (1) Bilingual
- Currently enrolled in a Business degree, specializing in Human Resources, or possessing relevant experience/training in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), process improvement and communications
Skills/Highlights: The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in pursuing a career in HR, DEI, or advocating for marginalized communities. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team are considered strong assets. Please also describe any experience or interest in process improvement, project coordination, event planning, and teamwork, as well as demonstrated coachability and eagerness to learn. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, Zoom) are preferred.
