Department: Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI)
Placement Description: Under the supervision of a Maintenance Technician, the student will assist in the development of plans and the inspection of various projects as part of our investment and regular maintenance programs. This person will also participate in the preparation of work schedules and the monitoring of matrices developed by the department. In addition, the successful candidate will contribute to updating the workforce management system using our GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
This role offers an opportunity for skills development with career-focused trainings, self-development workshops, and personalized mentorship.
Qualifications:

• Language requirement: French or Bilingual
• Post-secondary student in an Engineering or Technical Engineering program

Skills/Highlights: Proficiency in survey usage, good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) and experience with GIS. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with the ability to manage time and workload effectively.
