Department: Post-Secondary Education Training and Labour (PETL)

Placement Description: The student will be working with our team of employment counsellors to assist and provide support to team members and clients. Duties may include file management, creating and delivering presentations, assisting with resume creation, job search strategies, scheduling appointments, documentation, and partnering with team members for daily operations.
This role offers an opportunity for skills development with career-focused trainings, self-development workshops, and personalized mentorship.

Qualifications:

• Language requirement: Bilingual
• Studying in humanities, psychology, education, sociology, counselling, social work, family studies, etc.

Skills/Highlights: This role requires effective teamwork and collaboration, strong interactive communication skills, and the ability to plan and organize tasks efficiently. Self-confidence is essential, along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, particularly Word.
