Placement Description: The Centre of Excellence (COE) for Energy is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to support the Centre's initiatives. The successful candidate will help to further the Centre's mandate of advancing energy literacy and exposing students to career paths in the energy sector. Responsibilities include organizing COE-Energy events, developing virtual and experiential learning resources and activities, building, and maintaining relationships with external partners and sponsors, developing internal and externals communications, updating, and maintaining the Centre's website and online presence, and improving processes through strategic input.
This role offers an opportunity for skills development with career-focused trainings, self-development workshops, and personalized mentorship.
Qualifications:

• Language requirement: English or Bilingual
• Enrolled in a Science program or related field

Skills/Highlights: Experience in student resource development and instructional design, as well as in event planning and coordination are assets. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, strong organizational and project management skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, and a proficiency in digital tools, website management, and content development. Knowledge of education and energy-related fields is an advantage.
