As the Site Coordinator at IGNITE, you will be responsible for coordinating the IGNITE coworking space and facilities as well as supporting programming, events, and marketing efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is welcoming, organized, and eager to create meaningful connections within the community.

Duties and Responsibilities

Site Coordination and Front Desk Duties:

Serve as the first point of contact by welcoming and directing visitors to the facility with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Manage and process payments for coworking space, events, and other services.

Provide tours of the IGNITE site and facilities to individuals and groups.

Coordinate room bookings, ensuring efficient use of coworking and shared spaces.

Offer technical support for meeting facilities, including setting up audiovisual equipment and troubleshooting tech issues.

Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, including coworking areas, shared facilities, and meeting rooms.

Monitor and restock office supplies and resources as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Event Coordination:

Participate in pre-planning, marketing, registration, and on-site coordination for IGNITE-hosted events.

Host and facilitate groups at the IGNITE site, creating an engaging and inclusive experience.

Conduct post-event surveys, gather feedback, and assist in analyzing results to improve future programming.

Work with community organizations and partners to support new ideas and help bring them to life.

Marketing Support:

Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials to promote IGNITE programming and events.

Contribute to content creation, including blog posts, newsletters, and event highlights.

General Responsibilities:

Foster a welcoming and supportive environment that aligns with IGNITE's values.

Collaborate with the IGNITE team to execute new projects and ideas effectively.

Support youth programming, startup initiatives, and community events as needed.

Provide excellent customer service to all members, visitors, and partners of IGNITE.

Qualifications and Skills

Must be a graduate that has completed a degree or diploma-granting post-secondary program within the past year.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a true people person who enjoys interacting with others.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Basic technical skills and a willingness to learn new tools to support meetings and events.

Experience in customer service, event coordination, or marketing is an asset.

Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
