Responsibilities

Acadia seeks a Campus Tour and Events Coordinator in the Student Recruitment (Canada) department to create develop and manage programs that play a crucial role in student recruitment. This role is responsible for organizing and leading engaging campus tours that showcase Acadia's unique offerings, ensuring every visitor leaves with a lasting positive impression. Additionally, the Coordinator plans and executes on-campus recruitment events that provide an immersive introduction to campus life at Acadia.

Working collaboratively with various university departments, the Coordinator ensures the seamless coordination of tours and events while effectively communicating key information about programs, admission requirements, and student life through presentations and one-on-one interactions. The Coordinator also manages tour and event schedules, responds to inquiries, tracks engagement using digital tools, and supports virtual recruitment initiatives to connect with students beyond campus.

Qualifications
  • We are seeking a candidate who has a bachelor's degree, related sales/marketing experience would be preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative environment are required.
  • Applicants must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including those required for word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, social media communication, and internet research.
  • As first-hand knowledge of the Acadia experience would be clearly an asset, preference will be given to our Alumni.
  • Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule which may at time include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Some travel will be required.
