Placement Description: Working with a Nurse Consultant on the team as a member of the Nursing Homes Services team, the successful candidate will be expected to understand the current social and economic environment as well as the nursing home sector to provide advice and develop appropriate program and service options. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to support the development of comprehensive operational policy options and provide clinical support to the Manager. This involves the preparation of briefing notes and correspondence on key departmental issues, providing clinical support in relation to compliance with provincial standards, management directives, legislation, and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Language requirement: English or Bilingual
• Nursing student

Skills/Highlights: Experience in geriatrics or working with adult clients in a nursing home setting.
