RevTalent is recruiting a Branch Manager on behalf of A.L.P.A. Equipment.
Reporting to the VP/General Manager, the Branch Manager will be responsible to lead,
organize, plan and coordinate all activities related to the branch.
- Increase sales and improve customer service by implementing effective business strategies.
- Handle and perform equipment sales
- Assist equipment and parts sales reps in their work
- Be involved in external social activities and business networking to increase the visibility of the branch and company.
- Quickly resolve customer concerns and complaints
- Determine performance objectives for staff
- Manage work schedule for employees while considering fair treatment
- Participate in hiring staff and conducting interviews
- Conduct annual performance evaluations of each employee and provide
- individual goals to be met
- Manage employee conflicts quickly to solve and eliminate problematic situations
- Maximize utilization of various computerized systems, tools, and applications
- Propose ideas and improvements to head office, with the objective being to improve business development
- Negotiate with suppliers as necessary, or as requested
- Respect performance objectives as set by the head office
- Review and control branch and employee expenses
- Completion of post-secondary education is an asset
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a supervisory or management role
- Understanding of human resource management principles
- Knowledge of company products and heavy equipment
- Bilingual (French/Engish) is an asset
- Strong communicator
- Excellent interpersonal relations
