Purpose of Position:

To provide technical support and guidance to Maintenance Control and the Line Maintenance bases for Out-of-Service aircraft in an effort to ensure a safe, timely, and cost effective return to revenue service of the aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the optimum course of troubleshooting and rectification process based on the nature of the fault and the maintenance history of the aircraft.
• Guide maintenance personnel through the troubleshooting and rectification process as required.
• Update MX Control, OPS Summary, and Spotlight as applicable.
• Provide summary and detailed "Out-of-Service" Reports as required.
• Liaise with ISE and the aircraft manufacture when required.
• Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• AME license (ACA Holder) with 5 years experience.
• Specific type training on Dash 8 & CRJ series aircraft.
• Good interpersonal & communication skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills will be required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of FliteTrac, MX Control, RCMS and TRAX training.
• Must be Computer literate.
• Ability to work shifts and under tight time constraints.
