Currently, we are seeking a Project & Delivery Manager to join our growing team.

The Project & Delivery Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing software deliveries to customers, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards. You will lead a passionate team of software developers and engineers who play a pivotal role in delivering mission system software applications built using agile software development practices. You will work closely with the internal teams of QC, Support, Solutions, and Product to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions.

The Project & Delivery Manager plays a key role in optimizing delivery processes, mitigating risks, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage end-to-end project delivery, from initiation to acceptance.
  • Follow project management best practices, ensuring teams are working towards milestones, deadlines are met, and taking corrective action as necessary to deliver complete scope, desired quality, and cost-effective delivery of programs.
  • Providing a platform for communications and relationship management - engaging stakeholders for buy-in, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
  • Provide regular status reports to the Senior Leadership Team, highlighting key risks, dependencies, and successes.
  • Ensure customer requirements, technical specifications, and compliance needs are clearly documented and communicated to internal teams.
  • Represent CarteNav to local and global customers, while managing customer interactions, expectations, and relationships.
  • Work with Product Owners to understand product roadmaps, define delivery schedules, and ensure proper software builds and configurations.
  • Facilitate kickoff meetings, progress updates, and handover meetings with customers and internal teams.
  • Confirm delivery timelines, installation support, training schedules, and post-deployment requirements with customers and internal teams.
  • Continuously refine project management and delivery processes to improve efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Defining, estimating, and assessing new projects and/or proposals.
  • Ability to travel, when required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in project management, software delivery, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of software deployment processes, system integrations, and customer installations.
  • Proven project management skills including project planning, estimation, and execution.
  • Critical thinker with excellent problem solving and analysis skills, and a desire to delve into technical challenges.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects/tasks.
  • An aptitude for process improvement and change management.
  • Ability to lead a team in the design, implementation, and technical leadership skills that create team confidence and mutual respect.
  • Strong customer-facing skills, with experience managing external stakeholders and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze risks, identify dependencies, and drive solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear documentation and reports.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to enhance team capabilities and skills
  • Completion of a Bachelors' Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Project Management Certification would be considered an asset.
