Compensation commensurate with knowledge, skills and abilities.
This is a remote role with a requirement to travel to the assigned dealerships within Halifax on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for campaigns, websites, and social media, ensuring alignment with GM approval and branding guidelines.
- Manage social media accounts, interactions, paid digital campaigns, and track key metrics.
- Collaborate with GMs on marketing for various platforms (radio, print, social media, email) and oversee community partnerships/events.
- Maintain relationships with community partners, third-party vendors, and digital service providers (e.g., Kijiji, CarGurus).
- Coordinate the creation of marketing materials (graphics, business cards, flyers) and visit dealerships as needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing/digital media and relevant post-secondary education.
- Proficiency in SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, display advertising, and content marketing.
- Strong problem-solving, communication (oral, written), and proofreading/editing skills.
- Bilingual in French & English and automotive experience are considered assets.
- Comfortable using various design software and excellent time management skills.
- Able to work both independently and in a team, while managing pressure and meeting deadlines.
