Your Contribution

As an Environmental Engineer, you will work in collaboration with the Environmental Team

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Provide consulting services in the capacity of a Senior Environmental Engineer / Environmental Science Professional, with expertise in Phase 1 & Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments, risk assessment, remediation, and excess soil management (O. Reg. 406).
  • Apply in-depth technical knowledge to complex environmental projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, including Records of Site Condition (RSCs).
  • Develop and manage project budgets and proposals while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to environmental professionals and technicians.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, collaborating with the senior leadership team to support business development.
  • Provide strategic input on project design, processes, and environmental engineering techniques.
  • Serve as a senior consultant for environmental projects, overseeing designs and deliverables
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules

Your Profile

  • University degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Geology, or a related environmental field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in environmental consulting.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation and/or QP status (or eligibility).
  • Strong understanding of excess soil regulations (O. Reg. 406), site remediation, and risk assessment.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of projects, with a strong focus on client relationships and business development.
  • Federal project experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Ontario as required.
