(Contractual Position to March 31, 2026)
(Part-time; 10 Hours per Week)
DUTIES
Reporting to the principal researcher, the Research Assistant II will be responsible for recruiting participants; organizing and conducting in-person and telephone interviews; performing statistical analysis (including factor analysis and using SPSS); conducting interpretive analysis (for explanatory mixed-methods research); performing conceptual analysis; conducting literature review; preparing manuscript; presenting at conferences; and performing other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (1-3 years) in conducting quantitative research with peer-reviewed publications and tri-council funding; completion of coursework towards a master's degree is required. The successful applicant must have research experience in the behavioural sciences and education. Familiarity with the philosophical underpinnings of Habermasian "communicative rationality" (including "dialogic agency", "rational trust", and "practical discourse") is essential. This position requires extensive knowledge and requisite skills for engaging in survey design, piloting, and validation.
SALARY $59,901 - $70,273 per annum (Non- Bargaining)
