SummaryReporting to the Senior Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the design and integration of customized network security solutions that meet the needs of large enterprise customers. This position represents a great opportunity for technical leadership in multiple technologies through core projects for our clients. We are looking for a motivated individual, able to work independently and as part of a team, to carry out complex and challenging projects.a
Key Responsibilities- Design network and security solutions based on customer needs in collaboration with the customer's technical team.
- Produce schematics, specifications, solution documents and specifications for the completion of tasks related to the selected solutions.
- Define and validate the delivery strategy for complex projects.
- Lead the delivery of these projects, oversee the evolution of the scope and adapt the strategy as necessary.
- Act as a specialized expert for the client.
- Write service proposals ensuring the quality of the documents produced within an acceptable timeframe that meets the technical and legal requirements between the client and Bell.
- Work directly with the client's technical leads, Bell technical leads and support team members to ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions based on project timelines and expectations.
- Produce and write technical reports as requested for the client or management.
- Support the implementation of solutions during complex or critical changes.
- Work collaboratively and autonomously, while being able to deliver with minimal supervision.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the telecommunications field.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with a specialization in telecommunications or computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, IP VPN (MPLS), cloud computing, and WiFi technology.
- Excellent knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.)
- Significant experience with Cisco technologies, including CCNP certification or equivalent.
- Experience with Palo Alto firewall technologies, F5 load balancers, cloud computing and SDWAN an asset.
- Ability to define and identify customer needs with a focus on enterprise-grade solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong sense of results, ability to learn and adapt quickly, respect for deadlines and budget.
- Knowledge of rigorous change management processes.
- Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills in French and English.
