Salary Range: $1,820.00 to $2,541.00 bi-weekly
As part of the Engagement and Experience Division and reporting to the Manager of Student Recruitment, the Student Recruitment Advisor implements the provincial recruitment plan at the campus level.
In this role, you will:
- Implement Annual Recruitment Events and Enrolment Plans at the Campuses
- Organize and lead events such as fall Showcase, spring Career Exploration Days, and monthly information sessions.
- Recruit, train and involve current students as ambassadors in recruitment activities.
- Support annual activities within the Strategic Enrolment Plan such as Student for a Day, Applicant Information Day, Graduation, and Orientation.
- Implement Corporate Recruitment Initiatives at High Schools
- Represent NBCC through liaising with high schools within an assigned territory to provide information. Presentations and /or workshops on all NBCC programs and benefits of NBCC education via large/small classroom sessions, individual appointments, and booth display forms.
- Build effective networks with high school guidance counsellors and agency representatives.
- Contribute to the development of the Student Inquiry Management Plan
- Review and implement a communication plan for on-campus recruitment initiatives
- Stay abreast of NBCC Offerings
- Maintain relationships with department heads, instructors, and staff to ensure a full understanding of program offerings, prerequisites, scholarships, bursaries, loans, student services, student life, and employment trends.
Education:
- Diploma/Degree in a related field with relevant work experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Candidates must possess a valid Driver's License, as travel will be required.
