Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or healthcare related.
- Minimum of three years of experience in related field.
- Deemed equivalent combination of training and experience may be taken into consideration.
- Great Excel skills
- Ability to identify gaps and make changes
- Strong abilities in relationship building, assertiveness, confidence, and proactive behaviour, especially when trying to fill difficult shifts
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at once
- Understanding of the needs and priorities of the organization
- Ability to set priorities and achieve goals

- Have strong organizational skills, synthesis, data analysis, problem solving and good judgment
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Physical ability to perform assigned work
- Good past work record (performance and attendance)
- Mastery of common IT tools (Microsoft 365 suite)
- Valid driver's license and ability to access a vehicle (occasional travel required)
- Adherence to the principles of professional ethics, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values
- Compliance with Horizon Health Network confidentiality rules
- Excellent oral and written command of the French language and good command of the English language
What you will do
The Hospitalist Program Coordinator reports to the Administrative Director of Medical Services and works under the functional authority of the Assistant Vice-president of Medical Affairs and Primary Healthcare. They collaborate with the Program's team to achieve the objectives and ensures medical coverage of hospitalized patients for the regional hospital dedicated to his position.
The Hospitalist Program Coordinator is the core person in management to the success of the Program in his zone, they are a central resource-person for hospital medicine and is responsible for the continuation of the Program. They offer support to the hospitalist physicians, and they are the anchor point for the medical staff regarding all administrative and operational aspects of the Program. They also collaborate with the Data Analytics Specialists, the coordinating physicians, as well as other stakeholders inside and outside the Network. They therefore manage overall operations of the Program in his zone.
The Hospitalist Program Coordinator collaborates closely with various sectors of the Network such as Research, Medical Training, the Project Management Office, Quality, Integrated Risk Management, and Planning. He ensures multi-sector and partnership collaboration both inside and outside the Network.
