Job Summary
This position is responsible for prioritizing work and schedules; drafting/typing correspondence/reports and other necessary documents; coordinating meetings; and maintaining statistics. The Clerk IV is responsible for recording and transcribing minutes; preparing and distributing agendas, minutes and other related information and preparing presentations/webinars. They will also obtain information for the completion of a variety of reports and other documents; organize and maintain a filing system; addressing patient relation requests; and interacting with directors, managers, physicians, management support, vendors and outside agencies. The Clerk IV is responsible for payroll, as well as P-Card purchases for majority of the Rehab and Continuing Care Program, including "shopping" at times. They will support the Clinical Chief of this program for a number of issues including coordinating work schedules related to Memorial University, NL Health Services, as well as supporting new physician hires, the Director of Operations, and Occupational Health and Safety Committee. This position will provide some coverage for other clerical positions - most specifically will cover the patient resident trust for the Veteran's Pavilion.

Job Qualifications
Education
Successful completion of a two-year Office Administration or Business Management program from an approved/recognized college is required.
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) in a progressively responsible administrative role is required.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS and Outlook is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of Meditech would be an asset.
Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills.
Demonstrated effective problem solving and analytical skills.
Proven ability to work with limited supervision in a dynamic work environment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a deadline driven, team-orientated environment.

A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
