The New Brunswick Housing Corporation (NBHC) is seeking two individuals to join the Housing team as a Provincial Program Consultants in our Central Office (Fredericton, NB). The NBHC is focused on working with all levels of government, community groups, organizations, and the private sector to identify and maximize housing development opportunities while providing support through a housing strategy to positively impact New Brunswickers.
As a member of the Programs and Administration unit with NBHC, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of housing programs administered by the New Brunswick Housing Corporation. These programs may include (but are not limited to) the Homeowner Repair Programs, the Emergency Repair Program, the Homeownership Assistance Program, the Home Completion Loan Program, the Affordable Rental Housing Program, the Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Programs, as well as the Shelter Enhancement Program. In addition, the incumbent will provide interpretation of guidelines, program policies, legislation and procedures. The successful candidate is required to be involved in developing new programs and revising existing ones to achieve departmental key result areas, to lead numerous projects within the unit and to represent the unit on various internal and external committees. Th/":e individual will also be expected to maintain a provincial perspective on housing program issues and be aware of services and research developments in other jurisdictions. The individual will also be responsible for creating, maintaining, and analyzing data from various sources. This position involves establishing effective working relationships with persons both within and outside the Corporation. Other duties may be assigned as required.
Need to have (essential qualifications): Bachelor's degree in social sciences, Business or Public Administration or a related discipline with at least five (5) years related experience OR a Master's Degree in Social Sciences, Business or Public Administration or a related discipline with at least three (3) years related experience.
Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

Salary: Pay Band 5 - $64,974 to $90,740 per annum
