Essential Qualifications:
Education:
•Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting or related discipline is required.
•Certifications in asset management from a recognized asset management institution (e.g. IAM or PEMAC or IPWEA) or Professional Engineer (P. Eng) or Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
•Education or training in project management, business analysis, GIS, or similar disciplines are considered an asset.
Experience:
•Minimum 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure lifecycle management practices, including , maintenance, operations, or planning of public, commercial, institutional, or industrial infrastructure.
•Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategic plans, policies, processes, and/or technology to support asset management.
•Demonstrated experience working with asset management information systems (e.g. GIS, CMMS, or DSS such as ESRI ArcGIS, Cityworks, or PAVER).
•The ideal candidate is a progressive, highly motivated leader and manager with strong communication, people, and analytical skills.
A suitable equivalent combination of education and additional experience may be considered.
Must be able to obtain a Saint John Police Level II Security Clearance.
The successful applicant may be eligible to participate in a Flexible Time Options Program which includes the option of working a 4 or 5-day work week, subject to business requirements.
