Purpose
Lead and oversee a team in Corporate Credit Services, administering loans to clients in the US, Canada, Europe, and LATAM. Manage a portfolio of medium to complex corporate loans and letters of credit, ensuring data accuracy, accounting reconciliation, and record-keeping.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Lead a team of 20-45 employees, ensuring timely and accurate loan processing.
- Drive a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships.
- Ensure timely execution of corporate borrower requests and effective administration of credit facilities.
- Oversee quality execution of administrative duties, maintaining team productivity and operational controls.
- Ensure completion of time-sensitive and critical work, escalating issues as needed.
- Collaborate with other groups on process improvements and share best practices.
- Consider the Bank's risk appetite and culture in day-to-day activities.
- Foster an inclusive work environment, communicate vision and strategy, and manage succession and development planning.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We'd love to work with you if you have:
- University degree in Finance or business-related studies preferred.
- Prior experience managing a team.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate loan products, including syndicated loans, bilateral loans, and letters of credit.
- Understanding of the entire credit life cycle, from origination and underwriting to servicing and collections.
- Experience with ACBS or LoanIQ is an asset.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
