Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Lead and oversee development of the enterprise insider threat management program

· Oversee task prioritization and coordinate resources to ensure completion by timelines

· Foster strong working relationships across detection, investigative and lines of business

· Grow team expertise to align with the Bank's direction; assess team skills and capabilities and continually look for ways to provide and enhance the value delivered

· Foster an environment/culture that encourages productivity, innovation, process improvement, teamwork and professionalism

· Inform organizational structure for long-term success and sustainability

· Incumbents will be assigned to mature capabilities across key pillars, including governance, training and awareness, threat and risk analysis, and, technology. Based on pillar assignment, responsibilities include:

· Governance: develop policies, procedures, standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines (US/Non-US)

· Training and awareness: design colleague training and awareness related to enterprise and line of business policies

· Threat and risk analysis/technology:

· Identify and evaluate scenarios. Address threats through analysis and rule/alert development. Develop mechanisms for emerging threat monitoring. Liaise with other teams for model development

· Engage in post-incident reviews and work with lines of business to enhance controls

· Inform business requirements for data lake, including data fields and sources

· Develop reporting to oversee the end-to-end process - KPIs, diagnostics and KRIs

· Inform business requirements for alert management and case management systems

EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years relevant experience in risk management.
  • Sound knowledge of TD Wealth and/or Retail products, services and operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to review and organize large amounts of data and/or information.
  • Ability to work independently, apply critical and strategic thinking to issues, make timely decisions, and manage deadlines while multi-tasking amongst different projects and priorities.
  • Proven experience conducting root cause analysis to identify underlying issues.
  • Proficiency in understanding risk mitigation strategies and ability to implement solutions.
  • Experience in performing risk assessments to identify potential risks in systems, processes and/or projects.
  • Strong ability to synthesize information and adapt it to meet the needs of the audience.
  • Proven ability to distill and communicate complex information.
  • Strong collaborative skills and experience partnering, building and working with teams across jurisdictions preferred.
  • Strong decision-making, critical thinking, follow-through ability, analytical skills.
  • Ability to respond to shifting priorities quickly and managing competing priorities.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skillset is required, particularly in Excel, Visio, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and interact with all levels within the organization.
  • Must be self-motivated, energetic and results-oriented and be committed to adding value to the organization.
  • Strong reporting and communications background preferred.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) / Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS) certifications an asset.
