Job Description:
We are seeking a driven and analytical team member. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the bank's strategic mandate by ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our trading, settlement, and credit risk operations. As a key data owner for several business-as-usual processes, you will be responsible for maintaining critical data flows, validating information, and supporting seamless operational execution across multiple teams.

In this role, you will:
· Review Client Onboarding approvals and client set up information for TDS clients and ensure client and account setups are accurately programmed in various Book of Record and internal systems in a timely manner.
· Support daily operational tasks, ensuring timely and accurate data validation, data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
· Understand and maintain automated solutions & bulk data setup capabilities that are utilized to meet the growing demands of the business.
· Own and manage business as usual processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including front office and senior leadership, to support trade settlements, client reporting, and compliance activities.
· Continuously identify and implement improvements in existing processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the operations function.
· Assist in the testing, verification, and implementation of system updates and enhancements to ensure alignment with the bank's operational strategy.
· Play a key role in identifying and resolving operational risks through careful data analysis and proactive troubleshooting.
· Achieve an exceptional standard of error free processing by ensuring accurate inputting of data to mitigate risk to TD (e.g., reputational, financial, regulatory, operational risk)
· Analyze and resolve exceptions from various reconciliation processes and automations.
· Respond and resolve customers' concerns using standard procedures and escalating non-standard activities, as necessary.
· Undertaking project tasks as required and ensuring project deadlines are met.
· Help build a positive, diverse and equitable work environment by promoting team effectiveness.
· Demonstrate TD Framework and shared commitments in daily activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
· University or college degree with relevant experience
· Ability to connect day-to-day operational activities with broader business objectives.
· Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., Excel, SQL), with a strong capacity to analyze data, identify trends, and highlight discrepancies.
· High accuracy in managing data and executing daily and repetitive operational tasks, ensuring operational excellence.
· Ability to clearly articulate issues and solutions with internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration across departments.
· Foundational knowledge of Capital Markets operations and how various data points flow through interconnected systems.
· A self-starter with a proactive approach to learning and driving improvements, eager to contribute to broader strategic goals.
· Familiarity with robotic process automation (RPA) such as UI Path and Alteryx, and an ability to assist in system testing and data reconciliation processes is preferred.
· Experience or understanding of operational risk and process improvement initiatives are an asset.
· Demonstrate strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
· Ability to deliver legendary service while adhering to strict deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
· Prior client setup and SSI knowledge is an asset
