About the position
You will work as a Business Development Advisor for New Brunswick remotely and will need to travel regularly within our business territory.
What will your work week look like?
· Maximize the client experience of brokers in New Brunswick to ensure the achievement of each firm's business plan.
· Support the New Brunswick Partnership Management in managing the broker portfolio to ensure profitable growth in line with the company's business objectives.
· Collaborate with the team to analyze, accept, modify, or reject insurance proposals from brokers.
· Work closely with the team and other departments of the mutual society to develop innovative solutions.
· Manage relationships with existing brokers.
· Participate in representation activities to promote Promutuel de l'Estuaire.
· Develop and maintain a solid network of contacts to stay alert to opportunities by focusing on networking, territory analysis, and established reputation.
· Propose and participate in the design of training to support brokers in their development.
Do you have this profile?
Excellent knowledge of the brokerage world in New Brunswick, particularly the commercial insurance market.
Relevant experience in business development of at least 5 years in the field of damage insurance.
In-depth knowledge of insurance products, particularly commercial insurance.
Management experience in the insurance field (an asset).
You are passionate about business development and know how to spot opportunities.
You have an innate sense for establishing, maintaining, and developing healthy and lasting relationships with business partners.
You have excellent communication and negotiation skills and demonstrate exceptional professionalism.
You have advanced proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, to regularly communicate with our Francophone and Anglophone partners in our business territory through complex interactions related to insurance and to meet the growth objectives of Promutuel de l'Estuaire.
