Driven by a commitment to innovation and continued growth, East Coast Credit Union is seeking a Vice President, Information Technology & Innovation to play a key role leading organization-wide IT operations and service excellence, data and digital transformation, and high-quality project management practices.
Reporting to the President & CEO, the Vice President, Information Technology & Innovation (VP) is a strategic leader responsible for driving technological transformation and operational excellence across the organization. A key member of the executive team, the VP will provide leadership in IT governance, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation while fostering a culture of service excellence, innovation and continuous improvement. The VP plays a crucial role in shaping and executing the organization's data and digital strategy, ensuring the seamless integration and implementation of innovative solutions and emerging technologies that enhance business performance, member and employee experience.
With a focus on aligning technology initiatives with the organization's strategic objectives, the VP will oversee the implementation of systems, optimize IT operations, and drive process efficiencies and responsible AI adoption to maintain a competitive edge. This role involves building strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective vendor management, and championing change management efforts to support evolving needs. Through strategic vision, the VP will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organization' by championing cutting-edge technology, data-driven decision-making, and a commitment to exceptional member service.
The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in information technology, innovation or continuous improvement efforts, preferably within a credit union or financial services environment. They have project management acumen and a proven track record of fostering and supporting high-performance teams through coaching, development, and accountability. They support corporate-wide initiatives, champion innovation and process improvement, and foster a diverse and inclusive culture. They bring a collaborative communication style and are a natural relationship-builder with stakeholders of all levels.
