Reporting to the News Director, and working closely with our entire news team, this multi-skilled and focused individual will :

• Produce, Report, Interview, Write local news content on a daily basis.
• Contribute strong, original story ideas daily. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of issues impacting the province.
• Co-ordinate video, audio and graphic elements. Editing skills required
• Other duties as assigned.
• Report on-air as required

• Experience as a Reporter/Producer in a similar sized market.
• Degree or diploma from an accredited post-secondary broadcast program and related television experience
• Strong editorial and storytelling ability with diverse range of style including Live experience
• Strong journalistic sensibilities and integrity
• Solid background and knowledge of broadcast television and media production
• Ability to work well under pressure with multiple tight deadlines
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communicator and team player with positive, friendly manner
• Valid driver licence
