The opportunity

The Experience Management (EM) Coordinator is a member of the Consulting Canada Experience Management team. The EM Coordinator function support contributes to the goals of effective deployment of client-serving professionals and comprehensive project staffing for delivery of our engagements in Canada.

Your key responsibilities

As an EM Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting deployment; development; and capacity management processes and initiatives. You will provide full functional support to EM Leads in order to effectively deploy client-serving professionals. You'll receive regular supervision on a day-to-day basis to set appropriate priorities.

Deployment:

  • Conduct skill and bio/CV searches that focuses on matching proposal and project need(s) with required skills, development opportunities and project risk.
  • Assist with the creation/maintenance of accurate personnel and client project schedules and highlight conflicts to the appropriate Experience Manager
  • Proactively identify resources that will become availability in short term (i.e. next 2-3 weeks)
  • Proactively monitor and highlight unassigned resources in order to minimize unassigned time
  • Regularly communicate material schedule changes to the appropriate Experience Manager
  • Communicate regularly with Experience Management team on the status of tasks/assignments
  • Support CV, skills database and other fundamental initiatives within the Experience Management framework

Teaming:

  • Demonstrate effective teaming with Consulting EM team(s) by proactively/creatively responding to requests.
  • Involved in ad hoc projects as required (i.e. task forces, reporting, process improvement committees, training manuals etc.)
  • Identify ways to improve Experience Management processes
  • Participate in the orientation of new hires by providing an overview of the Experience Management function and operating model as required
  • Partner with the Consulting Talent Team (i.e. HR) on Performance Management initiatives
  • Actively support adoption initiatives of EM enablers including but not limited to Retain; MERA; EY Advance; EY Discover; Mercury, etc.
  • Work with peers across the Americas Consulting EM by contributing to EM priorities; task forces; and/or projects

Reporting:

  • Act as a subject matter resource on EM tools/enablers
  • Assist with the creation of Service Line; Market and/or Competency reporting including utilization performance; forecasts; variance analysis; and capacity management analytics
  • Support weekly processes to ensure data accuracy in reporting systems (code cleanups, record checks, feed validations, etc...)

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and/or PowerBI skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Strong analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. French language skills a plus.
  • Proven client service focus, with an ability to resolve issues quickly, with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to problem-solving
  • Flexible in adapting to constantly changing priorities
  • Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Confident at working independently and a self-starter
  • Experience in a professional services firm desirable
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and professionals nationally and globally. Professional competency in the English language is therefore a requirement of this role. Bilingualism in both French and English is considered an asset.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $56,400 to $84,600. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
