Position Overview:

The?Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist?works closely within merchandising's 360 teams to execute online merchandising projects. The Specialist is also responsible for achieving article onboarding metrics within their category and supporting the Online Merchant's strategic business initiatives by contributing to projects related to: online article assortment, online article pricing, online promotions, and supplier engagement. The eCommerce Merchandising Specialist is responsible for?supporting Online Merchants with driving centralized data support and identifying process efficiencies accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Actionable Deliverable

  • Deliver on expected operational SLAs and metrics like article onboarding cycle time and SKUs buyable rate.
  • Partner with relevant partners offshore and at the store support centre to effectively ensure prioritization and maintain standards and speed of onboarding articles.
  • Coordinate with the vendors to quickly and properly onboard new vendors from start to finish. Ensure eCom Seller Buyer Agreements are completed and all other requirements are met to list product online.
  • Supports website enhancements and online merchandising system issues – troubleshooting issues that arise, identifying improvement opportunities and testing enhancements as they are introduced.
  • Partner with the Online Merchant/Online Assortment Planning/Data teams to close gaps in assortment and make recommendations in partnership with merchants for improvements.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure seasonal/event readiness reports, briefs and strategy are supported. Participate in planning meetings to solve for opportunities and in post mortems for learnings.
  • In partnership with leader, merchant teams and cross functional partners, drive sustainable process enhancements that can be leveraged across the HD.CA business.
  • Coordinate with retail and online merchant stakeholders to capture assortment lists for seasonal or promotional activities.
  • Support the team to update training materials and find opportunities to drive value for your team and cross functional business partners.

Skills:

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable

Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Minimum Years of Work Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in in retail, eCommerce, merchandising, or a consulting/ project management role in a corporate environment
