We are looking for a qualified full-time Anatomical Pathologist to join the Department of Laboratory Medicine. The successful candidate will work in the Division of Anatomic Pathology, providing general anatomic pathology services as well as in-house specialty consultations.

Who you are
You have a worked as a Pathologist for a minimum of 1 year.
You are a Pathologist with training in Renal Pathology and/or Neuropathology. You have excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills with an exceptional attendance and work record.
You possess a Medical Degree from a recognized medical school and postgraduate studies (residency) in the field of specialty.
You must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level. Bilingual skills would be considered an asset.
What you will do
A typical weekly schedule will include:
- Provide expert advice and consultative services to physicians and other healthcare professionals on the choice, methods, and interpretation of molecular pathology tests and their use in the diagnosis of medical disorders
- Periodically assess scope of current services in context of emerging standards of care
- Participate in quality assurance exercises for divisions of anatomic pathology
- Be involved with teaching medical students and residents
- Provide on-call services during statutory holidays, evenings, and weekends as part of the on-call schedule for the Department. Participate in medical practice that is compatible with the Health Authority's mission, values and strategic directions
