Job Title: Accounting Clerk
Location: St. John's, NL
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Rate of Pay: $21.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
-Answering phone calls and directing inquiries efficiently
-Performing bank reconciliations with accuracy
-Assisting in the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements
-Handling monthly accounts receivable and payable tasks, including journal entries and general ledger postings
-Preparing monthly reconciliations and ensuring accuracy
-Managing internal controls for vendor and customer accounts, including invoice processing, payments, and collections
-Contributing to various other accounting-related tasks as needed

-Proficiency in Excel and Word; Jonas Construction Accounting experience is a plus
-Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
-Completion of a Business Administration Program with a focus on accounting
-3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
