Demands, duties, qualifications

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization and various stakeholder groups.
  • Developing, managing, and reporting on schedules, costs, resources, risks, and project objectives at various levels of the organization.
  • Leading project teams to meet objectives and stakeholders' expectations and providing direction and clear communication of the vision for project success.
  • Developing and executing risk management and mitigation plans.
  • Balancing competing goals of project stakeholders to achieve consensus on project outcomes while maximizing business value of the project.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders from various health organizations throughout the province to ensure successful change management and adoption in addition to a successful transition to operations.

About You

Your Education and Experience include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or another related field.
  • Project Management Certification or Designation.
  • Minimum 5 years' direct experience in project management, preferably supplemented with demonstrated experience in:
    • Project plan development and execution
    • Leading large-scale projects and teams
    • Quality assurance and testing methodologies
    • Experience in digital health related projects

You have the following Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to proactively anticipate and manage changes in project scope.
  • In-depth knowledge of both traditional and agile project management tools, techniques, and methods
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams in a matrix environment and engage diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Strong awareness of privacy and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance and Testing Methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
