What you will do
Reporting to the Executive Director of the Parks and Capital branch, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing third party contracts and maintaining strong working relationships and partnership with operators, concessionaires, and assisting with management at Larry's Gulch Lodge. The duties and responsibilities will include:
Daily activities with third party operators, concessionaires, and park managers:
- Contract management and compliance
- Ensure all required documentation is received
- Maintain and update existing processes
- Perform multiple site visits during the season
- Coordinate and provide support on any capital infrastructure projects at third party managed Properties
- Provide guidance and expertise on funding opportunities and support on financial management to third party operators
- Provide guidance on park improvements and support marketing initiatives to third party operators
- Support partnerships during the off-season:
- Responsible for reservation management
- Responsible for the management and coordination of donations
- Responsible for the management and coordination of government reservations
- Responsible for the management and coordination of the resident draw
Special Projects and Initiatives:
- Coordinate transfer of parkland to the department
- Draft and issue Request for Proposals
- Draft and negotiate contracts, if applicable
- Implement new park standards
- Other projects (snowmobile trail contracts, etc) and tasks as required or requested
Work Environment
- Office location: Marysville Place, Fredericton
- Office environment: Open office layout and opportunity for remote style work
- Standard hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Please note that this position requires variable and extended hours as well as occasional travel

Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:
Need to have
- University degree in business administration or a related discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of related work experience
- Demonstrated two (2) years of supervisory/management experience in leading a team
- Considerable experience in using Microsoft Office 365 software and applications
- Considerable experience and knowledge of project and change management
- Knowledge of outcome and measurement frameworks
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
- Written and spoken competence in English and French are required
Nice to have
- Experience in research, planning and organizing.
- Experience in developing community partnerships and initiatives.
- Legal document review experience.
Wage
$2,499.00 to $3,490 bi-weekly (Pay Band 5)
