Job Title: Tax Expert

Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Position Overview:

The Tax Expert will be responsible for assisting clients with tax preparation, filing, and providing general tax-related advice. In this role, you will work closely with clients to ensure accurate tax filings while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and compliance with tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare individual and small business tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
* Advise clients on tax planning strategies and deductions to optimize their tax positions
* Assist clients with understanding tax obligations and filing deadlines
* Review financial documents and records to ensure accuracy and completeness for tax filings
* Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations
* Respond to client inquiries and provide excellent customer service
* Assist in resolving tax issues or disputes with local and federal agencies
* Perform other tax-related duties as required

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 1 year of experience in tax preparation or tax advisory (experience with tax software ( profile) is a plus)
* A high school diploma is required (post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or related field is an asset)
* Knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax software's
* Ability to communicate complex tax information clearly and effectively
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
