Reporting to the Marketing Specialist, the Marketing Coordinator executes the day-to-day functions within the Marketing department to ensure smooth operations and service delivery to other departments. As such, teamwork and collaboration will be key attributes of success in the role. Working closely with the Marketing team, this multi-faceted position requires the ability to be both customers focused and technically inclined. In conjunction with, and under the direction of the Marketing Specialist, the Coordinator will participate in the execution of RS customer-facing initiatives, promotions, and events.
This position is a 9-month term, with potential to extend to a permanent position.
• Work closely with the Marketing Specialist and Marketing Manager to ensure effective execution of all marketing, advertising, promotions, and new product plans.
• Collaborate with Red Shores departments and team members to execute marketing initiatives.
• Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, project briefs, rules & regulations, Social Responsibility Assessments, and other communication materials.
• Regularly update in-house marketing materials, such as posters, banners, brochures, menu inserts, and digital screens.
• Coordinate placement and maintenance of marketing displays at both Red Shores locations, ensuring all signage and marketing materials reflect current promotions, events, and brand standards.
• Assist with ordering, managing inventory, and storing marketing and reward club's material, as well as marketing assets (physical & logical).
• Participate in delivery of events (i.e. Signature Races, Promotional & Special Events) and support the execution of signature events by engaging with guests, providing information, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Develop written and video content for social media platforms and provide input on management and strategy.
• Ensure the complementary and redemption vouchers are being issued in accordance with the specified internal control guidelines.
• Assist with implementation and development of RS Marketing Plan
• Track key metrics and performance indicators
• Collaborate with design team to develop digital and physical marketing deliverables.
• Assist in development and execution of Race Day Broadcast assets
• Always maintain general awareness of gaming operations, complying with security policies and procedures in order to secure corporate assets.
• Assist with Casino Rewards Club program reporting and the development of the data management program that focuses on marketing.
• Fosters and promotes integrity, teamwork, collaboration, and excellence in guest experience.
• Incorporate and operationalize AL's Responsible Gambling values, principles, and practices into all relevant facets of their business unit and interactions.
• Be aware of AL's social responsibility values, in order to position and build upon the image and relevance of AL and Red Shores.
• Establish and maintain effective contacts with appropriate members of the business, social community, and other organizations, in order to build on AL's/Red Shores' relevance.
• Additional or different responsibilities/duties, which are consistent with the position summary, may be assigned at the discretion of the Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist.
• One to Two years' experience in related field.
• Knowledge of social media platforms (FB, Instagram, X, LinkedIn)
• Solid Customer Service practices (proven & theory).
• Team orientated as integration is a key component to this position.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of computer software applications.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and solve problems.
• Degree or equivalent with business, marketing or communication background preferred.
• Ability to motivate others, build consensus and resolve interpersonal challenges.
• Valid driver's license is considered an asset.
• Bilingualism is an asset.
