As the Total Rewards Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the employee benefits and rewards programs and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, you will analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of current programs, recommend improvements, and provide support to employees. The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resource management and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and administer comprehensive total rewards program including compensation, benefits and employee benefits program.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial laws and regulations
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and costs of current programs
- Make recommendations for improvements and enhancements to optimize employee satisfaction and retention
- Manage relationships with providers
- Communicate and educate employees on rewards programs, eligibility, and enrollment procedures
- Oversee the administration of employee wellness programs and initiatives
- Collaborate with HR team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee rewards
Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- 5-8 years of experience managing employee benefits, compensation or other rewards programs
- Knowledge of rewards programs, laws, and best practices.
- Ability to design and manage attractive, equitable, and sustainable rewards plans
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Customer service and problem-solving skills
- Data analysis and reporting skills to measure outcomes and costs
- Strong organizational skills to plan initiatives
