Please note: the successful incumbent of this position will be required to reside in Western Zone.
Duties: Reporting to the Provincial Manager of Recruitment, the successful candidate will lead a team of professionals engaged in talent acquisition and ensure quality service to clients. The Recruitment Lead will provide strategic leadership and oversight to various talent acquisition functions; identify strategies to ensure sustainable talent supplies to meet organizational demands; provide day to day guidance, mentorship and direction to assigned staff; participate in selection committees for NLHS positions; build collaborative and effective relationships with employees, all levels of leadership, unions and internal and external stakeholders; assist with the implementation of a provincial talent management strategy; complete related projects and initiatives; advance LEAN methodologies and best practices; and perform other related duties.

Job Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration/commerce with a specialization in Labour Relations/ Human Resource Management is required. Master's degree in a area of Human Resources, organizational design or related area is an asset. CPHR certification is an asset.
Experience:
Minimum of five years of talent acquisition experience in a diverse healthcare and unionized environment is required. Considerable experience in working with complex processes and systems that guide the delivery of various human resources services as well as standards, laws and regulations that govern them. Experience with people management, change management, team development, coaching and Human Resource planning. Experience with the use of metrics to measure quality processes and to provide fact based decision making.
