On the Bell Business Markets team, you'll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You'll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility/5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

Join our dynamic Operational and Professional Services team as Senior Manager, Network Operations and Security! This position offers a challenging opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing our network and security infrastructures, ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of our on-premises environments. In addition, he or she will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the network infrastructure, while leading a technical team.

Job Duties/ Accountabilities
  • Lead the day-to-day network and security operations of our infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance in various environments
  • Lead a team of professionals, providing mentoring, performance management and skills development
  • Ensure the support and evolution of central infrastructure and services to customer sites, including the management of upgrades and obsolescence
  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery planning
  • Implement and manage change management processes to minimize service disruptions and ensure network stability
  • Manage relationships with network service providers and technical service providers
  • Monitor network performance and infrastructure security, proactively identifying and resolving issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to network configurations, firewalls and management tools
  • Responsible for in-depth analysis of security logs and network events to identify potential threats
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of the company's security policies
Qualifications/Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of experience in network operations and security management, including team management
  • Experience in project management and business continuity management
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN, WiFi, Security (Firewalls, VPN, IPS/IDS), including configuration, management, and troubleshooting
  • Familiar with Cisco and Fortinet manufacturers, certification an asset
  • Understanding of dynamic routing protocols and network monitoring tools
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices for IT service management
  • In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
