TD Technology Development and Delivery covers technical planning, integration, systems analysis, design, development, systems testing, deployment, and more. Meaningful, effective relationship-building is part of what these highly-skilled experts do best as they work together with project managers, delivery partners, architects, business and systems analysts, solution designers, testing and quality assurance teams, sponsors and so many other stakeholders.

We are looking for someone to oversee, guide and influence others as one of TD's top Technology Delivery experts. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions and services, which are aligned by a broad suite of Products, Platforms and Shared Capabilities. You will also lead the future direction of development and design to be used across complex systems and businesses for a technology-enabled regulatory program with enterprise-wide impact.

  • End-to-end leadership of product solution to execution, defining future direction of development on strategic projects including new or emerging technology for the business
  • Working with partners across the enterprise and apply deep understanding of relevant business needs to identify and leverage synergies across the various areas and projects
  • Driving aspects of product teams related to development, execution and delivery of end-to-end technology solutions or services within a Platform, Product, or Project
  • Advance development and design practices for multiple businesses or enterprise level
  • Facilitating and developing solutions, total cost estimates, and deliverables and providing expertise and strategic counsel to enable the most optimal technology solution
  • Champion technical thought leadership and coach others, guide senior management on large complex, transformational or cross-business strategic initiatives
  • Developing, brokering, and delivering end-to-end services to business partners and present recommendations / integrated solutions where appropriate
  • Maintain knowledge proficiency in system development methodologies, key business initiatives and issues, IT implications for systems or technologies and their impact on business solutions
  • Acts as a point of engagement for overall planning and partner management discussions with business leaders and technology partners and is involved in demand intake, capacity forecasting, project/platform lifecycle management, technology delivery, and service delivery relationships

Job Requirements :

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business/Commerce or a Technical Discipline (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science)
  • 8+ years relevant experience with Agile delivery experience preferred
  • Proven experience in driving technology project delivery with Enterprise impact and achieving target-state through a roadmap of investments that drive business outcomes
  • Skill in applying technology expertise and leading development of end-to-end technical solutions at the Product Family or Platform level, and leading a team of technology delivery professionals
  • Skill in managing partners and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet strategic direction, business and technical requirements, budget, scalability and architectural goals with risks and impacts considered
  • Knowledge of specific domain or broad range of experience in technology domains, including understanding of in-house and third-party architecture integration
  • Knowledge of applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices, business / organization, bank standards, regulatory and compliance standards
  • Knowledge and experience of the financial services industry, banking and insurance products, data management, data governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, integration, and experience implementing cloud technology solutions in industries with high regulatory oversight
  • Ability to quickly gain understanding of the Data Risk, Privacy, and Legal control functions and TD as a whole with expertise and specialized knowledge of data concepts and related technology and tools
  • Ability to work in close partnership with leads in Architecture, Infrastructure, Information Security, Privacy, Data Management, and third-party, external vendor leadership teams in assessing solutions design/development to meet TD's transformational needs
