Job Description
We're looking for a results-driven Account Executive to drive new business growth within the forestry and natural resource management markets. In this role, you'll focus on acquiring new clients and expanding Remsoft's footprint through strategic software and solutions sales.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in SaaS B2B complex sales, thrives in a high-growth environment, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to align client needs with innovative solutions. You excel at navigating long sales cycles, managing multiple stakeholders, and closing high-value deals.
- Driving new client acquisition by identifying, qualifying, and converting leads into long-term partners.
- Execute the strategic sales plan established by Leadership to meet or exceed ARR and service revenue targets.
- Manage the full sales cycle-prospecting, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Build trusted relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within client organizations.
- Work closely with internal teams (Development, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success) to align solutions with client needs.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and sales reporting in Salesforce.
- Represent Remsoft at conferences, industry events, and client meetings to expand market reach.
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and industry challenges to position Remsoft's solutions effectively.
- Language: Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Software: Strong proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms.
- Years of Experience: 10+ years of demonstrated success in SaaS B2B complex sales, managing long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex solutions effectively.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel to Canada, the USA, and other regions as required, including attending client meetings and industry events.

- Background in forestry, natural resource management, or related industries.
- Familiarity with operations management or optimization software.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
- Analytical mindset, capable of interpreting sales data and client needs to craft tailored solutions.
Location
