SummaryThe accounts payable clerk is responsible for processing incoming invoices for payments, follow up with suppliers when necessary as well as the verification and reconciliation of supplier statements.
ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable USD invoices (50%)
- Processing of Non PO for USD invoices: code invoices according to set guidelines, process for internal approval via electronic tool (ONBASE document management system), once approved transfer invoice profile/data to JDE, then in cue awaiting for payment.
- Processing of PO for USD invoices : once service/item reception is posted, invoice image is scanned (via Kofax document imaging system), then stays in cue awaiting for payment.
- Access and manage timeliness of incoming vendor invoices (mail, email, vendor portal)
- Review vendor invoices for relevance, accuracy, taxes and values
- Weekly or as needed, process payments via electronic transfer, wire or check as required.
Manage concur reports (50%)
- Process concur reports
- Process wire payments to Amex and ACH payments to employees
- Credit card accounts reconciliation
- Collecting invoices for Petro Card
- Credit card and vendor credit application
- DEC or AEC in accounting preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years work experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of excel and Microsoft Office
- Bilingual in English and French
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident
