Full Time Night Security Guard - GKN Metals

Position Overview:
GKN guards will work indoors and outdoors to provide a deterrent to theft of building materials. Duties include but are not limited to Security Patrols and Respond to Emergency situations. Requirements:
- Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act.
- Able to maintain a professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances and people under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write clear, concise and legible reports.
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy.
- Patrol assigned area on foot, to ensure building security.
- Watch for and report irregularities by completing investigations and incident reports, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire and/or ambulance personnel, as required.
- Safety footwear is required
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to the job site
