The Global Operations team partners with the front office and other groups globally to mitigate risk and deliver world class service to our global client base. They provide operational support and control functions across the trade lifecycle. The team is heavily involved in new product initiatives and process improvements to streamline our support model. Role Details:
The primary accountability of the role is to perform all daily processing activities for more complex and advanced reconciliations, ensuring the data reconciled is complete and accurate, and follow up on any issues with data delivery. In addition, identify patterns where manual matching is occurring and advance ideas to build automation rules where possible.

As a member of the Reconciliation Services team, you have a unique opportunity to positively impact the future state of vital control function within TD Securities. By Innovating With Purpose, you will support, enhance and ultimately augment our existing Reconciliations team's process, mandate and efficiencies.
Job Accountabilities:
The position reports to the Team Manager, Reconciliations and is responsible for:
Performing all daily processing activities for more complex and advanced reconciliations, ensuring the data reconciled was complete and accurate, and follow up on any issues with data delivery.
Identify patterns where manual matching is occurring and advance ideas to build automation rules where possible.
Identify risk and follow up on aged and high value breaks and escalate to ensure prompt resolution.
Ensuring that break escalations are completed and kept on record.
Escalating processing issues where necessary to ensure a high level of service is maintained.
Working with project teams, to develop, maintain and test reconciliation between multiple sources of data.
Adhere to Service Level Agreements and internal service delivery standards.
Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, mitigate risks and support process improvement initiatives.
Assisting in analysis, development, testing and implementation of operating and process improvements.
Ensuring that reconciliation procedure documentation is prepared, complete, and accurate and properly reflects ongoing reconciliation activities.
Job Requirements:
Ability to think conceptually ("out-of-the-box") and exercise good business judgement and problem-solving skills.

An ability to grasp and translate technical concepts, think independently and a high degree of initiative required to present options in resolving issues.

Knowledge of capital markets, their functions and processes.
Escalate key operational/reporting/process issues as necessary.
Experience with RCM or other reconciliation platforms would be an asset.
Have a mindset of critical thinking, business analysis and understanding the needs of colleagues
Ensure processes utilized are effective and efficient – collaborate with impacted groups to ensure we are offering integrated Access Control service delivery
Develop and maintain necessary functional expertise to deliver expected level of service
Capability to execute processing responsibilities involving one or more of the following:
non-standard processing environment
multiple step transactions
several systems or applications
a combination of manual and automated environments
multiple jurisdictions (currencies, time zones)
