JOB SUMMARY :
Under the supervision of the Volunteer Services Manager, the incumbent coordinates the volunteers assigned to the department's various programs.
The coordinator helps assess needs and develop and implement new volunteer programs. The coordinator is also involved in the recruitment, selection and integration of volunteers. The coordinator also participates in the implementation of various projects and mandates.
REQUIREMENTS :
- College or university degree in administration or any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent;
- Professional certification in volunteer resource management (CVA) an asset;
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience;
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365;
- Know of other software currently used within the Network;
- Effective communication – convey ideas clearly and respect different points of view, both orally and in writing;
- Judgment, tact and discretion;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Physical ability to perform assigned work;
- Good work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
- Adherence to Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules.
