Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationship and leverage broader Bank relationships, system and knowledge.
- Preparation of month-end and quarter-end reporting deliverables for Scotia Digital Customer Engineering ("SDCE") which includes:
- Ensure completeness and reasonability of financial information such as Software, FTE, Contractors, Capex, Discretionary etc.
- Understand the relevant performance of SDCE plan, forecast vs actuals.
- Communication of monthly/quarterly results to Senior Manager
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly update for SDCE
- Actively participate in the annual planning & quarterly forecasting for SDCE management.
- Supports the development of Finance reports as requested, endeavor to improve financial information.
- Supports the Director, Sr. Manager and Managers in the information gathering process and analysis for strategic and tactical projects requested by senior management.
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of Technology Finance in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conducts, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Accounting designation (CPA/CMA/CGA) preferred with at least 2 years related work experience.
- Solid business acumen and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication abilities to execute varied activities within tight deadlines and deliver with a great amount of accuracy and completeness whilst demonstrating excellent time management skills.
- Good proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office
