Berwick, Nova Scotia
Proudly bringing high quality, wholesome, fresh poultry products to customers
Eden Valley Poultry Incorporated (EVP) is a state-of-the-art, top-quality poultry processing facility that has earned a reputation for strong partnerships, visionary leadership, and operational excellence. EVP ensures Canadian consumers enjoy fresh, wholesome poultry products from farm to table. Eden Valley's ownership structure is one of its key strengths. The partnership between United Poultry Producers Inc., producers of high-quality fresh Maritime poultry, and Maple Lodge Farms, Canada's largest independent family-owned chicken processor, ensures a relentless focus on quality and a deep understanding that supply, processing, distribution, and sales are integral to the overall success and growth of the company and the industry.
Headquartered in Berwick, Nova Scotia, which is an hour from Halifax and an international airport, Eden Valley employs approximately 600 people from the local community. Eden Valley's products include air chilled, fresh poultry products sold in the Maritime provinces and to grocery stores and restaurants in the Maritimes and Eastern Canada. Eden Valley Poultry is integral to the poultry supply chain regionally and nationally. The company places a priority on being an employer of choice by recognizing the contribution of employees, contributing to the well-being of the community, minimizing its impact on the environment and focusing on exceptional food safety and quality standards. A leader in Canada's poultry industry, Eden Valley combines people, technology and processes to deliver quality products, financial health and returns to shareholders and to sustaining the industry.
