Your Contribution
As a Junior Electrical Technologist, you will work in collaboration with the Electrical Team
Your main responsibilities will be;
- Design and Drafting:
Create, update, and review electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and layout plans.
Develop power distribution, lighting and communications system designs using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Electrical System Design including but not limited to:
- Power distribution and emergency backup.
- Fire Alarm.
- Security, door access and controls.
- Communications and networking.
- Providing technical assistance on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Fieldwork and Site Support
Conduct on-site reviews, field measurements, and data collection as required.
- Team Collaboration
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, structural and architectural disciplines.

Your Profile
- Education: Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technician from an accredited institution.
- Certification: Eligible for, or registered as, Professional Technologist (P.Tech) or equivalent designation.
- Experience: 1-5 years of experience in electrical design, drafting, or fieldwork; experience in Commercial, Municipal and Industrial is an asset.
- Software Proficiency:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit.
- Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., AGI32, SKM, or similar).
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
Technical Knowledge:
- Understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, communication and lighting design.
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards.
- Experience with load calculations, single-line diagrams, and panel schedules.
- Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings and specifications.
Field Experience: Familiarity with on-site reviews, and commissioning is considered an asset.
Analytical Skills: Ability to perform technical analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving effectively.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
