Job Title: General Labour
Location - Dartmouth,NS
Shift/Hours: Day Shifts
Pay Rate: $19/hr

Advantage Personnel is currently seeking applications for a General Labourer/Forklift Operator to work in Dartmouth, NS on behalf of our client. If you are a reliable, hardworking individual with a positive attitude, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:
* Palletizing and un-palletizing parts, materials, and equipment
* Loading and unloading trucks
* Operating forklifts and overhead cranes
* Maintaining forklift greasing, oils, and cleanliness
* Cleaning sensitive and expensive parts
* Taking out chip bins, cardboard, and garbage
* Handling waste chemicals (typically in 5-gallon buckets)
* Sweeping, mopping floors, and operating floor polishers
* Cleaning windows, air curtains, and other equipment
* Constructing wooden crates using table saw, band saw, circular saw, and drill
* Sweeping and cleaning around machines (when offline)
* Cleaning filter traps in wash sinks and bathrooms
* Other general cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed

Requirements:
* Driver's abstract and criminal record check are mandatory
* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
* CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots
* High School/GED diploma
* Polite and professional demeanor
* Previous general labour experience is considered an asset
* Reliable and punctual
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* 1 or 2 years of Forklift and crane experience preferred.
